Blog 43, Mind of Steel done … tick

My heart is bursting with the love I feel after hosting the Mind of Steel event last night.

Admittedly, I had the jitters yesterday afternoon, torturing my self with thoughts of doom and gloom and nerves about the success of the event. I had been feeling so great about it but human nature can take over and ruin your flow with anything. Luckily I know that I often feel like that before an event. But I recognised it and re-grouped, I gave it my all and of course it went really well.

It was a team effort. I had recruited a variety of coaches, mentors and inspirational people to speak – so I knew it was not all down to me. The music was awesome – thanks to Carl Foster for the interval music which I love, its got a meaty power to it and literally you feel upbeat and motivated. The other music I purchased from Sapphire Music productions, written by Caitlyn Grey and her musical partner Neil. This music brought an energy to each talk and we had one rule and that was that everyone was to have a standing ovation.

The combination of great speakers, movement, clapping and high energy music (oh and a glass of your favourite tipple) gave this meet up an energy, a power that really lifted it and gave it a buzz. I was having a great time introducing the speakers and having a little chat myself about stuff.

I put myself out of my comfort zone and enjoyed every minute – Jitters be gone = note to self…. “stop worrying about things Gill, it will be fabulous you are already trained for delivering events, so don’t sweat the small stuff ” (Richard Branson quote)

“OMG!!! Big up to the amazing Gill Fell for putting on a fabulous night with inspiring speakers and for her witty Bradley Walsh inserts!!!!
Elaine Bonfrer, you were a natural, your passion shone through and I have so much respect for you, well done you little star!! โญ
Carl Foster, you musical genius!!! ๐ŸŽผ๐ŸŽธ
No better time than spending it with fab friends & feeling so much love” โคโคโค

“Totally agree, great night and great speakers Patricia Bakewell Gill Fell Elaine Bonfrer Phil Steele you all done amazing. This definitely should be a regular event” โ™ก

” Loved it! So good catching up with you all. Can’t wait for our next meet up – feeling the love myself tonight!” ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜ xxx

“Thanks so much Gill Fell for organising and hosting such a fabulously uplifting and inspirational night in Leaf Cafe tonight – it was just what I needed! ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—
Patricia Bakewell Elaine Bonfrer & Phil Steele you were all utterly amazing as always, thanks for sharing your powerful words of wisdom once more. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’—
A fab fab evening shared with so many lovely like-minded friends, I’m very thankful to have met you all.” ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ’—

” Great to see you and the gang Helen. JK Rowland couldn’t have done a more eloquent post! You also look really well.
Thank You to Gill for amazing comedy talent and putting on the show, it was brilliant. With very powerful speakers๐Ÿ˜ƒand not forgetting DJ Carl Foster! What a talent”๐ŸŽถ๐ŸŽต๐Ÿ’ƒ๐Ÿ•บ๐ŸŽธ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿš€xxx

“It was a fabulous night, uplifting and positive energy, I’m sure my mum benefited from it. I did, I’m always positive, but I want to hear how others do it, and other ways when you’re not I’m such a great place. You’re soo funny! such a buzz you are!. Hope you enjoyed yourself too- what a fab night you brought together! ”

I really couldn’t have written better reviews if I had written them myself.

There were many more but that’s enough self praising for now… Even my kids said it was great and…… SIMON SAID “WELL DONE” Even though I made some comment about him strutting about in his Calvin Klien’s (risky)

So the message last night was to really get your mindset strong, in a great place for knowing that wonderful things will come your way. Expect great stuff, look for good things and if the black cloud gets you. Be kind to yourself.

The little Happy Ninja made an entrance in a little cow onesie and a blanket and her opening message was “it’s ok to have a blanky day” awwwwwwww

Looking at the storm outside I am not surprised if everyone takes to a blanket, in fact take one with you to work – I’m sitting here writing this having a hot flush, no blanket required !!! in fact it’s tempting to go and stand outside and let that force 10 cool me down – phew.

So if you are not feeling uber up there and leaping around like a spring chicken – try and raise your energy levels with some upbeat music and have a dance. Go on force yourself.

Dance the blues away.

Passing on to you so much love

Huge thanks for reading and to those who helped me with the Minds of Steel – especially my family you awesome bunch of dudes.

Have a great day – so much love
