Blog 45 !! Photo Blog from the Canal trip

Today I am just showing a few photo’s from the Midlands Canal Trip I went on Tuesday – Thursday this week.

James and His friend have bought a 69foot Narrow Boat Shell which they are going to fit out in the style of a London Apartment and sell it as a ready to go floating home – These photo’s are just a few from my very useless i phone so better photo’s will follow another day.

The weather was terrible – very windy and raining for a lot of the trip. A few injuries on the locks (I broke my front tooth !!!)

The locks were exhausting but the coffee was good and the serenity of the canal does nothing but restore your inner peace. Until you bang your head a few times, slip and break your tooth …. then Melt down probably for an hour or 2 but during this time I shared my pain with the canal volunteer – who radio’d ahead and got a whole posse of helpers to do the next 4 locks !!!! Result I hid in the cabin and offered to make tea !!! So good came from bad and I’m off to the dentist today and toothy peg will eventually be restored to its former glory.

So here’s a few photo’s and I wish you a peaceful day. If you are by water just sit and enjoy it for a few hours/minutes.

Thank you
