I sit here in the sunshine and know that there are people in offices out at work and I am able to plod about hanging out my washing and throwing a ball for the dog.
I am grateful
So is the dog
She never tires of me throwing that ball and waits so patiently whilst I type a few more words. I have to wash my hands inbetween each throw so it really is a time consuming thing to do.
I sat this morning with another dog owner by a mini lake (pond) in the Birkdale Nature Reserve and we chatted about mindset and nutrition. Normally I rush the dog walk to get it over with but today it was like a scene out of The “Happy Dog Happy Owner” virtual film of life.
The dogs flopped about in the water, chasing each other (they are such good friends). Penny the dog owner and I easily chatted and I found that it was a good reminder to me of the things I had forgotten, good things, about health and nutrition and Mindset.
When I went on a taster course at the London School of naturopathic Medicine and it was so informative. But a question was raised about what happens when you come off the Food protocol? And the answer was – we go into decline again.
So why is it we get so good at doing something to help ourselves when we are sick and then when we feel better we ditch the good stuff?
The Lecturer answered simply
“It is our human instinct”
Remembering these words this morning made me realise I myself am one of those humans.
It’s no good wondering why your energy levels are not as good as they were when you realise your juicer has not been used for a few weeks.
I also realise that I have read too many conflicting articles as to whether nutrition and juice makes a difference at all. Also does mind training help?
Well Gill – read no more articles and just remember what you have learnt through living and trying good nutrition and mindset training.
So it’s back to the juicer super quick for me, I have replenished my stock of organic kale, carrots, spinach, celery, ginger and apple – plus a dollop of probiotics too.
I had uber good energy when I was on this juice.
So thank you dog walker lady friend I am back on the right track. My juicer is ready for action and I know that I will reap the benefits.
Stand by Cabin also my mindset is going to be back to where it was, My daily meditations will become a habit again.. Let’s face it if we put our minds to something we can achieve it.
No Excuses that the puppy takes all my time up.
I am going to meditate for 20 minutes a day and get the green juice of goodness down me.
Ahhhhhh I feel better already.
