Greetings from the Kitchen of Felly and Jas, it’s 6am on a cold February morning 2018 and I’ve been awake since 4.11am trying to go back to sleep was not working, a quick reiki also didn’t bring on the glorious state of sleep either. So it was get up Gill and do your sleep meditation. I don’t keep my phone by the bed so I can’t just flick it on and stay in bed. But when I get down stairs, Jas the 15 month old Border Collie has other ideas about what my early morning actually looks like. Sleep meditation ha, nope it’s time to lol around and tickle puppy tummies. Now she’s sleeping in her bed by my feet, and I am wide awake loving the log burner and the cup of tea, the twinkle of the light from my candle and the fact that I am alive today, the sun will rise soon and I will be a glorious part of this day, already connecting with the Universe and sending out the gratitude I have for all the opportunities I have at the moment coming my way.
And Breathe in the gorgeous February Morning, Breath out any negativity (although I can’t actually think of any directly for myself) But I will breathe some out for all the people suffering.
It’s been a real time for reflection lately, I’ve been hurling myself into meditating and Mind Checking, my intention to get my mind in a much better place is a mission for me, because I know the depths of despair and it really is not a place I would like to go back to.
I personally think that some people’s brains have a strong lead towards being negative so it’s much harder to be a positive thinker most of the time. We are all wired so differently.
My reflections have led me to a magnificent place in my mind to join in with helping those who have a mission to get the world thinking better thoughts.
At the Mind of Steel Conference in January I spoke about Liverpool being one of the best places for new positive groups forming and collaborations for me are the way to get a bigger message out there.

To me that means that alone its a battle, together its a stroll in the park. (Sometimes the park gets muddy, but sometimes its lovely and dry and there are little flowers growing and the trees are the constant, working away day and night – delivering what trees do) Think about that !!!
THOUGHTS = ENERGY = LIFE = HAPPINESS
You get your light bulb moments when your mind is relaxed and clear, that’s why reflection and if you can getting into a meditation practice really help to free up your brain cells from worry and stress. Your brilliance starts to flow when you let go.
If meditation to you is a wacky spiritual thing then I am here to put you right. It’s a science.
Some people take it to a spiritual place but others keep it to a scientific practice of calming the mind and body. You can choose which way you want to help yourself become a better thinker. Have a look on youtube at ASAP SCIENCE (Meditation) that explains it a bit in 3 minutes.
I’m learning so much at the moment and getting an understanding (I think LOL) of how we are all giving out frequencies of energy. It’s a subject that I will continue to study. If anyone has any good links to an easy way of understanding it – then I would love to hear from you.
Thoughts give out a frequency and if we think better thoughts then we get better actions as a result.
Some people would call this logic. But I know through my practice of re-training my mind to think better thoughts I am getting better actions and I am getting the life I want with good health and the way of life I didn’t even know was possible.
So I think its a great thing to reflect and an easy one to start with is a Gratitude reflection. Have a designated time of day when you give thanks for your life, your health, your home, your car, your bike, your shoes, your fingers, your colleagues at work, your family, your friends, your smile, your teeth, your wrinkly face, your smooth skin, your dog, your cat, your ability to use your wheel chair, your visit to the consultant, your umbrella, your socks, your toe nails, your washing powder, ………
Crikey how much do we have to be thankful for?
If we can choose to think better thoughts, this has a knock on affect and others will pick it up from you. You don’t have to try and convince them – just do your own thing, focus of your own thoughts, your own energy, your own reflections and after a while people around you will either change or disappear and new ones appear- let it go and evolve.
