If I didn’t have a fracture on my left Fibula and a seriously sprained ankle on my right, I would be doing a happy dance right now. Because, I have realised that all the stuff I bleat on about Mindset strength actually works, no seriously, I have been the proof of my very own pudding.
I do love pudding !!! but no pud for me whilst I am inactive well maybe a few strawberries and yogurt (cream when Wimbledon starts).
So this is a little bit about healing and mindset. When you work (as in have a dozy little old meditation daily – hardly call it work) you start to make physical changes to the way the brain handles stuff. (very medical and technical) I’ll leave all that science to the psychologists and medics amongst us. But that tiny bit of switching off our brains for me anyway has helped me become more logical (my family may well laugh out loud at that, but as they don’t read my blogs well…. who care’s) any how, I definitely know that I am happier now and more confident and have the ability to be responsive not reactive over trivial things.
I am no way perfectly unaffected but I am most certainly more relaxed when daily irritations come my way.
It’s like giving your brain a workout, making it work for you. Since my friend Carl Foster has been putting together his vibes, as in Music for healing, I have been listening more to binaural beats. But his are so much better, especially his latest work. I’ve been listening to about 25 minutes a day of this music that reaches your soul. It has the perfect beat, mixing and changing, it makes you take a breath of healing energy right to your mindset.

I decided 5 years ago I had to change my mindset. Oh by the way it was the 3rd July that I was told I was incurable and the 3rd July was the date my father died, and the 3rd July was the date I had a first date with hubby (long suffering – poor chap) –
3rd July 2018 is going to be an awesome day of happiness and fun, I hereby declare it Gill Fun Day of happiness and joy. (that should do it)
Really I want you to pick up from this little Health and Fitness Blog that your mindset rules you. You have to make choices everyday about how you are going to deal with things, how sad you are going to be, how happy you can make yourself.
The lovely doctor who I went to see said I could put a tubigrip on my ankle, he said it won’t make much difference – to which I replied “is it a tubigrip of lovely healing”? He looked at me and said “yes it is”… We shared a placebo moment – I know if my mind believes something will work, I am happy that it will.
So why not think about making some mindset changes ?
so learn it for yourself, then live the practical side of putting it into use daily, then pass on the great mindset change learning to someone else.
